HSCPCR is mandated under the Commission for Protection of Child Rights Act 2005 to undertake all measures for Protection of Child Rights in the state of Haryana. HSCPCR envisions a world of empowered children who are supported by their community to achieve their full potential. Haryana State Commission for Protection of Child Rights is an independent State level Statutory body which was set up on 28th December 2012 by the Government of Haryana by virtue of power given to it U/S 17 of the Commissions for Protection of Child Rights Act, 2005 (Central Act No. 4 of 2006). HSCPCR works in close coordination with the National Commission for Protection of Child Rights (NCPCR) and other State Commissions to recognize promote and protect all rights of all children in the state of Haryana.
